Argentina Import Regs.: Reference Pricing

Postby qszheng_forum » Mon Nov 17, 2008 1:37 pm

On August 29, 2007, the GOA issued DGA Nota Externa #58/2007 sets minimum prices for specific goods. The rationale for this decision concerns the apparent need to control of under-invoicing for specific goods (by HS classification) and by origin of the goods. These goods under terms of the Note will be subject to greater customs scrutiny before release. The Annex to this Note specifies by HS classification a reference price per unit to be used by customs to determine whether there may be under-invoicing and a country of origin criteria for determination of this possibility.
